On Tuesday we trailed by as many as four runs but battled back to beat Payson Seymour 17-7! We accumulated eight hits in the game. Taylor and Kallie were a force together in the lineup collecting two hits each, Kallie hitting two doubles with Taylor and Charly hitting one. Nena, Charly, Carsyn, and Caydence Taylor added the other four hits for the win. Tenley Fullerton laid down a sacrifice bunt. Taylor, Kallie, and Charly each drove in two runs. The girls had patience at the plate, collecting 14 walks for the game. Lydia, Carsyn, Caydence, Paityn Havens, and Nena stole seven bases in the game, with Carsyn and Lydia each collecting 2 each. Lydia went the distance to earn the win giving up four earned runs and striking out eight batters. It was an exciting win that moved us to 5-8 on the season.
